30 levels make up Exit Path's single-player (uni-player) mode, while the multiplayer mode pits you against other internet gamers. While playing single-player and multiplayer, accrue flair and experience points. Up to 60 different flair awards are available for you to collect, and you can personalize your player character however you choose. Primary and secondary colors for the character can be changed. The body is the primary color, and the helmet or knee band is the secondary color. You can alter your player's headgear or hat style; these are unlocked by accumulating single-player flair points. Gaining multi-player flair points allows you to personalize the handicraft.
You can select among uni player, multiplayer, flair, and edit options once the game has loaded. If you select single-player, instructions and a description of the controls will be provided. To move, use the left and right arrows; to crouch, use the down arrow. Jump by hitting the up arrow, then keep pushing it to jump higher. When available, use shift or space to flow or move more quickly. The top of the screen displays a flow meter.
